And over soon

And the project is almost over. Deadline tomorrow. It's mixed feelings. I'm rather happy that I can relax for a day, not thinking of weapons or patterns, but I also wish I had more time to develop this. I know that this project has got potential to be developed further. But I know myself, I get a bit tired of a project if I work with it for to long. Tired might be the wrong word- I just want to start something new and look at something different after a while. It's hard to start again with an old project. It's gone be interesting next year.

Cut it

Made this film after a performance a few weeks ago in Stockholm, Sweden, for my project.
I was looking at Yoko Ono's work from the 60's as inspiration for this piece.

The model is standing still, as a portrait. Symbolizing the unchangeable. The only thing that moves is the nature- the trees in the wind, the butterflies in the air and her own breathing.
The camera then change and people start to cut her dress off, one by one and everything starts to change.
The beginning and other clips is missing out. Some people shadows just exist. It's like when things suddenly just happens. No reasons what so ever and people don't question it. It's just there.

One person cut the whole dress off after a few hours, and the model is standing fragile and exposed in her underwear.

On the day...Can't feel it

It's 4 days left- then deadline. I've been working a bit TO hard these last few days. But managed to organise everything well, and made a fabric, a dress, a neckless and took the fashion shoot with the lovely Sophie, edit the photos, all in less then 48 hours. I'm tired now, but still got some inspiration and more energi to make the last few things that I want to do before sunday evening. The thing is that I cant feel my body anymore.

Playing around

Prints on paper and playing around with colours

Med lika förutsättningar?

with equal opportunities

Been busy today, 1 week to go. Made a big abstract, 1 minute per object, with my left hand drawing. 2,5 m long fabric with blue paint.
Weapons with a childish touch.
Working with contrasts- weapons vs. the innocent.

Have we all got the same opportunities in life?

Further developments

Adam helped me and showed me how to use photoshop today. I managed to do some experiments with my "drawings" and made some patterns of my weapons.

Pattern (First)

These are some of my pattern design for my Weapon project. Because I really don't know how to use Illustrator or Photoshope I decided to just cut out the design by hand and play around with the pattern in a very traditionell way.
